Will I be fully qualified after my course?
Yes. For classroom-based training, you will receive your certificate on the day, subject to meeting the required practical standards. If you do not meet the required level, you may be asked to complete case studies before certification is issued. Each situation is reviewed individually.
For online courses with practical assessments, your certificate will only be awarded once you have successfully passed both the online theory and the practical assessment.
Can I get insurance with my certificate?
Yes. All of our accredited classroom courses and online courses with practical assessments are fully recognised and insurable. You can obtain insurance from a wide range of providers, and we recommend PBD as a trusted option.
Approved online courses are not accredited but can still be insured via BGI.uk in many cases.
Is my trainer fully qualified?
Yes. All our trainers are fully qualified professionals. Many are experienced beauty therapists and are also recognised educators, fully insured to teach.
Are kits included in the course?
Some courses include a kit, which will be clearly stated in the course description. If a kit is not included, you can purchase a starter kit separately, which will be used on the day of your training. Kits are either handed to you on the day or shipped if pre-arranged.

How old do I need to be to enrol?
- Online Courses: You must be 15 or older to enrol and begin studying.
- Online Courses with Practical Assessment: You can start studying the online theory from age 15, but must be 16 or over at the time of booking your practical assessment.
- You will have 12 months from the enrolment date to book and complete your practical exam.
