We understand that sometimes plans change. However, due to the nature of our training services, which require advance preparation, tutor allocation, and model coordination, we have the following cancellation and rescheduling terms in place to protect the integrity of our academy and the experience of all students.
- Classroom Course Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or reschedule your classroom-based training, we require a minimum of 72 hours’ written notice via email to: info@vspaacademy.co.uk.
- If you fail to provide at least 72 hours’ written notice, you will forfeit the full course fee and will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
- Should you wish to rebook, you will need to pay the full course fee again.
- Practical Exam Cancellations
- For courses that include a practical assessment, students must book and complete the practical exam within 12 months of purchasing the course.
- To reschedule a practical exam, a minimum of 72 hours’ written notice via email is required.
- Failure to provide the required notice will result in the loss of the paid exam fee and the need to rebook and repay for a new exam slot.
- Practical exam reschedules must be booked at least 6 weeks in advance and are subject to availability.
- Model Responsibility
- Certain courses require students to provide their own models for the practical elements of training.
- It is the student’s sole responsibility to ensure a model is arranged and present at the specified time. We strongly recommend preparing a minimum of three backup models in case of cancellations or no-shows.
- If a model fails to attend, Vspa Spa and Beauty Academy will not be held liable for any disruption caused. As our training is heavily focused on hands-on practical delivery, the course may be cancelled without refund or reschedule.
- If rescheduling is permitted, the student will be required to pay the course fee again, or a rescheduling fee may be charged at the discretion of the academy depending on the circumstances. The reschedule will not be free, as a trainer was allocated and prepared in advance.
- Academy-Initiated Rescheduling
- In the rare instance that Vspa Spa and Beauty Academy must reschedule or postpone a course (e.g., due to tutor illness or exceptional circumstances), students will be offered an alternative date.
- We will aim to provide as much notice as possible and will prioritise rebooking students at the earliest availability.
