Online Introduction to Pedicure
Approved by BGI.UK | Insurance Available via BGI.UK
Strictly Online Course | Completion Required Within 6 Months | Certificate Issued Upon Successful Online Test
This fully online course is ideal for beginners to those at an intermediate level and provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of pedicure treatments.
You will learn the basic structure of a standard pedicure, typically lasting around 45 minutes. A luxury pedicure, taking up to one hour, may include additional treatments such as paraffin wax or heated boots.
While pedicures share some similarities with manicures, they differ in both products and techniques used. However, the core principles remain consistent across both services.
Key benefits of a pedicure include:
- Enhancing the overall appearance of the feet
- Promoting a neat and well-groomed look
- Maintaining smooth, well-shaped toenails (preferably square to help prevent ingrown nails)
- Softening the skin on the feet and legs
- Reducing hard skin build-up
- Keeping cuticles neat, attractive, and healthy
- Creating the ideal base for enamel application
- Providing relaxation and a sense of pampering
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a digital certificate from The Vspa Spa and Beauty Training Academy for a surcharge of £12.00. This certificate recognises your achievement and can be used to support applications for further training or employment.
