Body Massage | Two Day Accredited Course with A & P beforehand

Our Spa Body Massage course teaches you the most common (and effective) type of massage currently offered by holistic therapists. You will learn both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills to be able to competently perform this treatment to meet the needs of a range of clients, providing both affordable Express Body Massage treatments for time-pressed clients and also luxurious and deeply therapeutic Spa Full Body Massage treatments tailored to your client’s specific treatment needs. This hands-on, practical training course completed within 2 days will teach you a full body routine that can be adapted to be completed within 25-45 minutes or extended to up to 75 minutes to include the face and scalp, depending on the client’s individual therapeutic needs. You are required to do home study on theory prior the course.

Course structure

This course is structured over two days and runs from 10am – 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the first and second day practicing your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will be required to give and receive body massage treatments as part of this course, working with other students.

Course benefits

Using a variety of both basic and advanced massage movements, you will learn how to perform a professional body massage that works to stimulate circulation, promotes relaxation and keeps muscle tissue more supple. Acupressure points will be incorporated in the massage routine which will help with many common ailments (such as stress, fatigue, muscle pain and aches) and encourage healing in the body. During a pre-treatment consultation, you will be shown how to adapt your massage to suit the needs for a range of clients of all ages, including use of a range of massage mediums. The treatment is most effective when received on a regular basis, enticing your clients to return for regular bookings, establishing a continuous source of income. Following the course, you will have learnt the techniques to confidently provide very effective holistic treatments on an Express Body Massage and luxurious Spa Full Body Massage treatment basis. As a professional massage therapist working from home and mobile, you can expect to earn up to £50 an hour so these are certainly lucrative skills to learn.

You may pay a deposit upon booking the course, however the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your course. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you paypal.
This training is done in small groups of 6 or less.

Starter Kits

You will be using your own starter kit on the day of your training.

Selected starter kits are available for our students to purchase through our website. The starter kit contents  also give you some idea of the minimum basic items you will require, however there may be additional items you will look to add beyond the starter kit(s) once you begin practising to enhance your treatments. Kit orders will only be processed where the student has already booked or attended to complete the relevant training course with Vspa Academy, as we provide kits only for the purposes of training, practice and gaining qualifications to our own students. Orders from those who have not completed training with us may be refused and result in cancellation / refund of the kit fee paid.

Kits will be giving to you on the day of training.

All kit shortages or damages should inform your tutor on the day of your course.

If you fail to attend the course and have paid for the course in full aswell as your kit, we can ship your kit for £5.00 postage and package fee.
